As you might or might not already know, Get Back is the Beatles original concept for what eventually turned (mutated?) into their Let It Be album.
The original idea was to give the fans a performance with as few edits and studio gimmickry as possible - a rough around the edges Beatles album in the style of a live performance. Produced by Glyn Johns, get back was never officially released to the public, though some of the tracks show up on Anthology 3. So, yes any and all copies of this album are bootlegged. Some copies of the album are acetate sourced (Kum Back, WBCN Broadcast), most others are tape sourced with varying degrees of hiss and/or pickup noise. My favorite releases of this album came out on the Strawberry and Vigotone record labels. hard copies of these versions can fetch up to $50 at auction, but are quite free as online mp3 downloads. I don't want to name names for fear of incurring legal hassle, but there is a specific Beatles fanpage where these can be found totally gratis. So if you absolutely need a hard copy, The version here (Russian CD maximum release coupled w/Yellow Submarine) is ok, but if you want all this and more, remember, it's free elsewhere.
