The front liner notes open to a small scale replica of the concert's tour poster. - - - - - One of many posthumous Hendrix releases, most of which pale in comparison to this, this was recorded at San Francisco's Winterland from October 10-12, 1968. Presented by Bill Graham, Hendrix's opening acts were Buddy Miles Express and Dino Valenti. This album peaked at #11 on the Billboard charts and spent 15 weeks in the top 40.
