Album Description
Angeles industrial metal quartet Static-X will release 'Cannibal Killers Live' on October 13th on Reprise Records. 'Cannibal Killers Live' is the band's first live release following five well-received studio albums - the first of which, 'Wisconsin Death Trip', sold over a million copies. Each subsequent release hit the Billboard Top 40. Recorded during a show at Spokane, Washington, 'Cannibal Killers' encompasses material from Static-X's entire career with early favourites such as 'Push It' and 'Bled For Days' sitting alongside more material such as 'Cannibal' and 'Dirthouse'. The package will be completed with the addition of every music video that Static-X have ever filmed, as well as an audio CD of the live footage. Fronted by Wayne Static (vocals, guitar, programming) and also consisting of Tony Campos (bass, backing vocals), Koichi Fukuda (guitar, keyboards, programming) and Nick Oshiro (drums), Static-X released their Platinum-selling debut 'Wisconsin Death Trip' in 1999 before delivering 'Machine' (2001), 'Shadow Zone' (2003) and 'Start A War' (2005). Last year's 'Cannibal' album has already sold in excess of 160,000 in America alone. Static-X will enter the studio this autumn to work on their sixth studio album that is due for release in 2009.

Static-X's first live album & official DVD. The band sounds great & there's some tunes from every album. If you like Static-X, you will like this CD/DVD package. If you don't like them, this isn't going to change your mind.
The only complaints I have are: 1. The video for 'Permanance' is not included & 2. the 4:3 aspect ratio is inexcusable in 2008. Widescreen is a must.

Static-X Rocks there is not one live show I went to and did not like and there concerts including this album are alway's at their best.
Buy this CD you will not regret it great live album.

Well, I finally picked up this CD/DVD after hearing about it for so long and I can't get enough of it! I think I've watched it about 10 times since i bought it and the CD is always in my car. Great raw sound with plenty of audience interaction and, as always, the band shows why Static X is a name that is still on fan's minds everywhere! Just listen for yourself...

I enjoyed this live performance from my favorite band. If you have ever been to one of their concerts, you know that they are a good time and the music is awesome and unique. The only negative thing I would say is that I was expecting a little more effort put into the backdrop for the concert. I know this is not a super band with tons of money, but all they have is a projector with generic graphics like you'd find in the iTunes visualizer. The important part is the music and sound quality is great, as it always is from Static-X. Another bonus is that it's also a collection of all their music videos to date. Cant' wait for the new CD next year!

I really liked the dvd. I saw this tour in person and it was nice to watch this and re-live that experience. My only complaint is that it's in full screen. No widescreen option. I watched it on a blu-ray player and it didn't look particularly great.
