Product Description NCIS: The Official TV Soundtrack Vol. 2 is a specially produced soundtrack for the most-watched show on television: NCIS. This album features brand new and previously unreleased tracks from some of music's most popular artists including Bob Dylan, Norah Jones, John Mellencamp, Sheryl Crow, Joss Stone, Sick Puppies, Saosin and Sharon Little that are available exclusively on this soundtrack.
To coincide with the album's release date, the November 3rd episode of NCIS will prominently feature Bob Dylan's ''California,'' a never-before-released track that originally dates from the Bringing It All Back Home sessions and has remained locked in the vaults until now. The remaining tracks will be placed in NCIS episodes throughout the current season, which ends in May 2010.
The soundtrack also features a brand new song from NCIS star Michael Weatherly (Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo), ''Bitter And Blue,'' that was recorded especially for this soundtrack. The album also features Otis Redding's ''I've Got Dreams To Remember'' and Tom Lehrer's ''The Elements'' that were both featured in previous episodes of NCIS and were suggested by the show's fans in a poll conducted through the ncismusic.com website.
NCIS airs Tuesdays (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and is produced by Belisarius Productions in association with CBS Television Studios.
Album Description 2009 release, the second volume of tracks taken from the soundtrack of the hit TV show NCIS including Bob Dylan's 'California', a never-before-released track that originally dates from the artist's Bringing It All Back Home sessions. Vol 2 is the all-star follow up to the highly successful Volume One Soundtrack released earlier this year, which marked the new standard for the integration of music into prime-time television storytelling. The album features 12 tracks from some of music's biggest names, including Dylan, Norah Jones, John Mellencamp, Sheryl Crow, Joss Stone, Saoisin and Suck Puppies. Ten of these tracks are exclusive and available only on NCIS: The Official TV Soundtrack - Vol 2.

As soon as I got it I sat down and listened to it. I absolutely loved it and would recommend this cd to any NCIS fan or any music fan.
On The Lookout January 27, 2010 Cecilia Gordon (USA) I hope someone can help me with this.I heard a song on NCIS,it sounded like Corinne
Bailey Rae.I'm not sure of the title but the main lyrics were "Falling in Love".It was during one of the episodes with DiNozzo romancing the Doctor Jean'and anticipating moving in.This song was played twice during this episode. And it's not on vol.1 or 2, unless there is another title. Can anyone help me on this one.I'll keep checking back here for any comments. Thanks in advance.
NCIS: The Official TV Soundtrack, Vol. 2 November 27, 2009 Jae S. (Vermont, USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Not as strong of a soundtrack as Volume 1. For the price there was not one song that stands out. Fans of Michael Weatherly will enjoy his performance, but if you are not already a fan, this will probably not make you start being one. Over all, they should have waited and released it with more artists. Even repeating a song or two from Volume 1 would have been better. Sadly, not up the the quality we have come to expect from NCIS.
Great CD November 3, 2009 S. Doloughty (Pittsburgh, PA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have music by most of these artists. Joss Stone is good and I love the older songs. But I have to agree, the Michael Weatherly song " Bitten And Blue" is my total favorite! NCIS is on FIRE and they keep coming with the hits! Can't wait to see what they do next!

I like several of the artists on this soundtrack, however, I must say that Michael Weatherly's song "Bitter and Blue" stands out as my favorite for volume 2 just as Cote De Pablo's "Temptation" is my favorite from volume 1. The music for this show continues to amaze me as does the outside talents of the actors and actresses that may not have been known before these soundtracks came out.
