4 out of 5 stars Good but lacking   October 4, 2008

While this movie probably had the best music of all time the soundtrack is lacking some of the best tunes. Major missing pieces include Modest Mouse's "Little Motel" and The National's "All The Wine", probably the two best songs in the film. While the rest of the songs on this playlist are great a few key omissions ruin my opinion of it. As for the movie, it was poorly written and generally pointless, with the major redeeming point being the incredible music.

5 out of 5 stars Great mix CD if you love the movie   October 14, 2008

If you love the movie, as I do, this is a very nice compliment to it. Yes it misses a song or two, but it captures the movie. If you have not seen the movie, I would not buy the CD yet. Even if you have seen the movie, it is worth checking out all the songs on Amazon. I initially though only about half the songs were strong but the more I listen to it, the more I realize all are strong. The fun part is discovering new bands, like Army Navy, which released its first CD today.

1 out of 5 stars Very lacking   October 8, 2008

I purchased this soundtrack because during the movie I realized I really liked one of the songs. Turned out it was really the only good one on there. Not worth the money. Just download the few songs, if any, you enjoyed.

The movie was great, very tightly written. The ongs were so-so, a few were menmorable but only 2 stars for this soundtrack

5 out of 5 stars Great Music   October 13, 2008
While this Cd is lacking some awesome songs from the movie it still has a lot of great music on it. I do suggest testing out the songs and listening to each one because this music is not for everyone.
