Nice collection of some older unreleased Bone songs January 24, 2008 G$ (B-More, MD) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
The four man Bone group returns (sort of), Krayzie, Layzie, Wish, and Bizzy are brought back to you by Tomica Wright to get her some more money since the group left Ruthless Records, but none the less it's still anice album of some older tracks Bone reorded that never made any of their albums. With 12 songs, you get 3 that are ok, 1 Classic, and 8 are good, a few being real good. No guests on any songs. As usual Krayzie is on the most, all 12 songs and does almost all the hooks, Layzie is on 11 of the 12, and Bizzy and Wish are each on 10 songs. Production is good as well. Noel "Detail" Fisher does 4 songs, Bone does 3, Alvin "Stone" Clark, Rick Rock, LT Hutton, DJ Uneek, and Co-Stars all do 1 song. A nice album for fans of Bone to grab a hold of. #2 - 8 (bizzy, layzie, krayzie, wish) #3 - 8 (Krayzie, layzie, bizzy, wish) #4 - 7.5 (krayzie, layzie, bizzy wish) #5 - 7 (krayzie, bizzy, layzie, wish) #6 - 6.5 (krayzie, wish, layzie) #7 - 9 (layzie, bizzy, krayzie -- tight beat) #8 - 8 (wish, layzie, krayzie) #9 - 10 (CLASSIC -- krayzie, layzie, bizzy, wish -- great relaxing beat) #10 - 9 (krayzie, layzie, bizzy -- nice beat) #11 - 8 (krayzie, wish, bizzy, layzie) #12 - 8.5 (krayzie, wish, bizzy) #13 - 8.5 (krayzie, wish, layzie, bizzy) KRAYZIE BONE -- Anthony Henderson -- b. 6/3/74 -- Cleveland, OH LAYZIE BONE -- Steven Howse -- b. 9/23~75 -- Cleveland, OH WISH BONE -- Charles Scruggs -- b. 2/17/75 -- Cleveland, OH BIZZY BONE -- Bryon Anthony McCane -- b. 9/12/76 -- b. Nice Album!! November 16, 2007 A. Macillon 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a tight album even for an unofficial studio album. If you're a bone fan or even if you're not, this will satisfy you...
Thug Cuts December 21, 2007 GlassJAw RAwb (Santa Cruz, CA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I will say, when i first saw the title, I was like "OH SNAPS!! A NEW CD ALREADY?!" but when I looked at the tracks, I realized that it wasn't a new cd after all, it was cut tracks, most of which i have heard before. For the uninformed...Bizzy is not and most likely WILL NOT be back in Bone Thugs. This is just Ruthless Records attempt to cash in on Bone's new found success. Bone wouldn't release an album through Interscope and then go back to Ruthless in under a year. Also, "T.H.U.G.S." was the title of Flesh-N-Bone's debut CD on Def Jam. This cd has some good cuts though. If you want a cd full of Bone Thug album cuts then get this album, REGARDLESS if Ruthless is cashing in (which indeed they are). Listen before you buy, because like previously mentioned, this isn't an actual studio album, just cuts.
Horrible Re-do November 29, 2007 Nate S. (Ohio) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I'm sick of Ruthless trying to make as much money off the Bone Thugs name as they can. I could deal with them releasing the Greatest Hits CD and the Chopped and Screwed version, BUT this CD IS A REMAKE!!! All the tracks on this CD were recorded around the time Thug World Order dropped, which is why Bizzy is on the CD. The Bone Thug Affiliated website released this SAME CD almost a YEAR AGO on their website. The site is run by DJ U-Neek (Bone Thugs DJ/Producer). The CD was originally called The Lost Files and had different WAY BETTER beats on all the tracks. STOP SUPPORTING RUTHLESS RECORDS AND DONT BY ANY MORE CRAPPY BONE CD'S. INTERSCOPE IS WHERE ITS AT FOR BONE 2007-ETERNAL!!!!
bizzy bone aint back November 29, 2007 TacMasteR (chicago) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
as stated in some other review on this album bizzy is not back. if he was it wouldnt be under the eye of ruthless. and the money that this cd makes wont even be seen by bone so go buy the lost files and stop supporting ruthless.
