The CD includes the brand new 'Best Of' collection featuring two previously unreleased tracks, and the DVD contains a full length BSO holiday concert filmed in December 2004 at L.A.'s sold out Universal Amphitheatre. It's a full 1 hour and 40 minute show, with added backstage footage and behind the scenes work with Brian and Crew. This is the same concert film that was broadcast on PBS stations during the 2006 fundraising drive.

The first thing I did when I received this in the mail was pop in the DVD ~ I have been a fan of Setzers since the Stray Cat days and have seen him play a few times. He is an amazing guitarist and knows how to put on one heck of a show, AND it's all captured on this dvd. The musicians behind him follow suit and are equally as gifted. These guys (and dolls) look like they are having the time of their life and it's contagious. The DVD features swingin' holiday favorites, but Setzer also ventures into some of his rockabilly tunes with Bernie Dresel on drums and John Hatton on bass, making for an outstanding trio performance.
This is a must have for your holiday library of music. The fact that you get this great DVD with the musical CD just makes this one fantastic package.

Very different slant to the Christmas album , plenty of raunchy guitar alond with some neat big band arrangements. The DVD is a great bonus even if it looks a bit twee at times . I imagine that the impact would be far greater live on stage.
All things considered this is a good package, well worth the listen.

This album will make Christmas funnier... The only negative thing I can come up with is..... Nothing.. Buy this one and support a GREAT orchestra. Music does not get more fun than this. Pure joy and all musicians seem to have a ball... I really wish that these guys and gals could come to Sweden and play... What a live band..

This CD/DVD combo is great! We watched it over the holidays a few times, all ages enjoyed the great show and awesome music. It is a crowd pleaser. If you like music, you'll love it. It is a lot of contemporary big band style with updated favorites, great tempo and style. I will buy future CD's by Brian Setzer.
