Eclectic and Fun November 5, 2008 Patrick Mcgann (DC, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bought this after watching the movie last weekend. Great soundtrack to an equally great movie. The entire CD jumps from the old Ska days to some real eclectic gems.
Great soundtrack but.... November 16, 2008 Thelma More to do with the artist listing than the actual soundtrack. The version of 'Have Love Will Travel' that is used in the film is actually performed by The Sonics, not Richard Berry. I don't own the CD so I don't know if its an error or if they used a different version of the song for the soundtrack and for the film. Regardless if anyone is trying to track down the artist heard in the film it was The Sonics.
Rock n Rolla genius! December 13, 2008 Gillian Badoud The film, an absolute triumph, good to see Richie back on form. the music phenomenal! This is a great driving album and the added excerpts from the film make you laugh as you remember all the ridiculously brilliant shenanigans the characters get up to! "There's no school like the old school!"
Great album ***** December 15, 2008 P. G. Bralten (The Hague, Netherlands) After seeying the movie I instantly ordered the soundtrack. I've always loved Tarantino for the great choice of music, but Guy Richie also has great taste. I'ts not only the songs but also the way their used in the movie. Great Album *****.
