Home is the last place these pop-aholics will be at Christmas: 'N Sync were on such a tight touring schedule in 1998, it's a wonder they even had time to record this disc in time for the holidays. The standard carols--"The First Noël," and "The Christmas Song"--aren't nearly as much fun as the original tracks here, but the a cappella version of "O Holy Night" is by far the masterpiece, and proof that the boys are more than just hyper-pretty faces. In fact, their superbly blended harmonies save what could have been ill-fated attempts to put a '90s R&B spin on songs like "In Love on Christmas" and the title track. "The Only Gift" and "Under My Tree" are addictive despite being overly cute, and you'll have a hard time getting "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays" out of your head. Keep in mind that Christmas CDs belong in the background, let go of your anti-pop prejudices for just one day, and you'll be bopping along with the boys in no time. --Rebecca Wallwork

Well I bought this album in May and I really like it. This album really shows the voices of all the guys. There is no question these guys can really sing. Although the majority of the songs are about "love with someone" at Christmas, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The traditional songs are great, but, the original songs are extemely easy on the ears. Like another reviewer- you won't be able to get "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays" out of your head. I love that song. It is fun and happy and brings out the true meaning and spirit of Christmas and the video of it is pretty cool too! Justin does alot of the lead vocals and he does them beautifully as well as JC and Chris. There is even one song portion that you hear only Lance on, which is a nice surprise. If you are an *Nsync fan than you should own this CD too. You will love it!

Home For Christmas is a beautiful peace of song writing andsong singing! *NSYNC's voices carry out the lyrics to these songs and make them even more beautiful than they are already. In one song entitled "It's Christmas"which is track #10 Justin sings a line in the second verse that is outstanding and well written the line is "cold winter nights may come and go, but were still dancin slow... can't you hear my song the song I sing for you". To some this may seem like just another mushy boyband line, but to a true *NSYNC fan who's heard it they know the combination of the words and Justins harmonic voice is like nothing else. I'd also like to add that I think *NSYNC are some of the most hard working young people in the music business today. They unfortunately give up having normal lives like most people their age to please the thousands of people who adore them. They are 5 people who love what their doing, not a fabricated "boy band"in it for money. They deserve alot of credit for sticking to it thru all the law suits and controversy, and I would like to tell them that they can take their time putting out the new albumn, because I think I can speak for all the fans when I say "We are still gonna be here no matter how long you take" "We Love You"!

I love Christmas, and if you love Christmas, this CD is a must have. I wrote a review for "Home For Christmas" already, but it never came up, so you know what? I'm going to write another one. I want to tell everyone just how much I like this CD, so I'm going to go through it song by song. #1- "Home For Christmas" Ok, I love this song, it was a great way to start off the CD. The song starts out with NSync's great 5-part harmonies and ends up with a full chior. Out of ten this song gets a nine. #2- "Under My Tree" This song is very clever. I like the way that they sneak in songs about love & romance into a Christmas CD. This song is adorable, and I love the way it's sung.It gets a nine as well. #3- "I Never Knew The Meaning Of Christmas" Ok, once again, a little romance. This song is sweet, you get a picture in your head of dear little Justin fining that special someone to point out pretty snow flakes. At least that's what I get from it. I give it an eight. #4- "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays" How can anyone that loves the Christmas and the spirit that surrounds it, not like this song? It's happy, makes you feel liking dancing around your living room, and hell we all need to dance crazy by ourselves. This is a good song to do it to. Nine #5- "Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire" Ok, virtually every Chrismas album ever made has this song on it. That's why it is lovingly known as "The Christmas Song". I happen to enjoy this version imensely. We all know that the boys can sing like nobody's business, but this song is done very simply, and I love that. It shows that they don't have to have fancy riffs and high notes to sound good. Nine. #6- "I Guess It's Christmas Time" Ok, I love every song on the album, but if I had to pick a least favorite, it would be this one. It's got that "We Are The World" feel, not that that's a bad thing. I personally think the music is a little too cheesy (no velveeta for me), but the words are wonderful, so I have to give the song props for that. Over all, I give it a six. #7 "All I Want Is You This Christmas" Good lord, I love this song. I listen to this one more then any of the others. It just makes me feel very happy. I love the fact that Chris & Joey sing the majority (or at least the first half) of the song. I have to give this one a ten. #8- "The First Noel" Another cover of a very popular Christmas song. NSync did a really good job of coloring this song, making it a little more lively. I give it a seven. #9- "In Love On Christmas" If you need a little R&B fix for the holidays, this song is it. I have to point out that my favorite part of this song is when Justin says "I always prayed Santa'd bag love on his sleigh and send it my way". I think it's a cute song. It deserves a nine. #10- "It's Christmas" This song is so incredibly awesome. This and #7 are my favorites. I have to point out this one line, it says "Cold winter nights may come and go, but we're still dancing slow. Can you hear my song, the song I sing for you?" If you think the words are beautiful, you should hear how it's sung, I melt every time I hear it. This definitly gets a big fat ten from me. #11 "Oh Holy Night" The 3rd and final cover, will blow you away. Done acapella, this is the obvious stand out of the album. The harmonies and upbeat way this song was sung is great. How Chris hits those high notes, we'll never know. But I can only say one thing about that, "You go boy". This is another ten. #12- "Love's In Our Hearts On Christmas" This is the moodiest song on the album, but moody isn't nesicarily bad. I like this song and give it an eight. #13- "The Only Gift" I like alot of the lines in this song. And I love the fact that Lance has a little solo. That boy has got a great voice. Nine. #14- "Kiss Me At Midnight" I'm going to listen to this song when the clock hits 12:00 on new years. Then I'm going to pop in Will2K, just for the hell of it. Anyway, not too many new years songs are made, and NSync did a good job of making a nice one. It gets and eight. Ok, there's my review. If you read the whole thing, congrats on living through it. I'll be doing more reviews later, be sure to check them out too.
This album is a must for all. Not just *NSYNC fans. December 5, 1999

This cd is heartfelt. I've always been skeptical about pop music, and a friend of mine knew that so she reccomended this cd. I haven't been able to stop listening to it. "O Holy Night," is absolutely breathtaking (the way that they sing it), and there are some original songs mixed in w/ the traditional ones. If you want a good Christmas album, GET THIS ONE. It's 100x better than their debut, and it truly showcases their vocal talent. On this album, my personal favorites are "Love's In Our Hearts On Christmas Day," "Home For Christmas," "In Love On Christmas," "Under My Tree," and "O Holy Night." GREAT JOB *NSYNC!

Wow, this is a great album! I love *N Sync, and I was real surprised to hear this, I didn't think it would be better than their first album. If you're looking for great Christmas music, this is the CD to buy! It has traditional, and some new stuff! I love it!
