U must be Krazy December 22, 2004 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
Im not sure what kind of music some of these reviewers listen to but Im not believing they genuinely like gangsta rap. An if this is so dont write reveiws for a genre u dont really feel in your gut. I wouldnt write reveiws for Wu-Tang kause Im not really feeling that genre and my review would be inaccurate and unfaithful to real fans of that style of music, u dig? Maybe Anthony Rupert should stick to The Cure and Yamagata. So that being said this album is a definite classic. The epitome of gansta rap has embodied itself in Faces' "Untouchable". The production is something new, but definitly a compliment to the album. I didnt feel there was anything lacking here. From begining to end this album is untouchable. It harkens back to the days of The Diary. If your reading this kause your thinking of kopping it then do it w/out hesitation. Forget what the haters say, theyre clueless. Stick to what u know.
BETTER THAN ANY ALBUM THAT YEAR!!! October 8, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I HAVE SERIOUSLY COMTEMPLATED HOW GOOD THIS ALBUM IS, BASED ON THE FACT, THAT I CAN'T, AFTER ALMOST 10 YEARS, THINK OF WHAT COMES CLOSE TO THE CALIBER OF THIS GETO BOY DYNAMIC C.D. "UNTOUCHABLE"! I HAVE HEARD ALBUM AFTER ALBUM, AND THERE ARE SOME AMAZING ALBUMS FROM THAT YEAR, BUT NONE ARE AS HARD, THOUGHT OUT, OR MORE PAINFULLY DEVIOUS, AS THIS ALBUM.
GRANTED THIS ALBUM HAS 12 TRACKS, AND IS RELATIVELY SHORT IN COMPARISON TO OTHERS THAT YEAR(ANYTHING MASTER P, LASTS 3 DAYS AN ALBUM, YET SUCK.)! UNTOUCHABLE DOESN'T LACK IN INTENSITY, HUMOR, HUMILITY, AND HONOR, AS SCARFACE (BRADLEY JORDAN b.1970), SHOWS WHAT THE STREETS HAVE NOT ONLY BROUGHT HIMSELF, BUT MANY OF HIS FELLOW TEXANS IN THEIR CITY'S DIRTY STREETS. HIS HARD EDGED, DEEP, AND RASPY VOICE, PENETRATES THE BRAIN INTO THINKING ABOUT WHAT HE IS TRULY SAYING, AND MAKING SURE YOU REMEMBER. HIS SIDE VOCALISTS MAKE THIS AN EASY CANDIDATE OF THE BEST ALBUM THAT YEAR AND JUSTIFIBLY SO.
WITH ARTISTS LIKE, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Too Short, Daz, Devin The Dude, 2Pac, Johnny P. AND K.B., AND PRODUCTION OF Tone Capone, N.O. Joe, Mike Dean AND OF COURSE Dr. Dre, MAKE THIS ALBUM AN UNTOUCHABLE ONE.

An unexpected classic. October 6, 2000 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this album right after Pac died just cause it had one Pac song. It turned out to be 12 bucks well spent. "Smile" is undoubtedly a tight song but all the others are just pure hardcore beats and rap. I love Scarface's voice and while I don't think he'll ever be huge, he's gotta be a favorite for a few rap fans out there.
This is NOT 'Face at his best June 13, 2002 1 out of 5 found this review helpful
I really didn't like this album. It sounded like Scarface was just rapping over these beats and didn't really bring it. And I know how Scarface is because I have all his albums. The only good songs were "Smile" with 2Pac and the one that follows it, "Smartz". Also, "Mary Jane".
Scarface- The Untouchable July 10, 2004 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Southern rap legend Scarface's 4th album "The Untouchable" (1997) is a decent release. At just 12 tracks (excluding intro/outro) its a short one. After the intro, Scarface gets things going with the title track "Untouchable", like Face's lyrics and the chorus to this one. Face then delivers some grimey tracks with "No Warning", "Southside" and "Sunshine". The laidback "Money Makes the World Go Round" feat. Daz is a decent collab, with a Westcoast feel to it (that goes for the album as well). Another track that grabs my attention when listening to this one is "Mary Jane" a track which Scarface shines on, backed by a memorable beat and a first class chorus. My favourite track is "Smile" feat. 2pac and Johnnny P this is an excellent track, one that I never get tired of hearing. I like the albums last full length track "Game Over" feat. Dr.Dre, Ice Cube, Too $hort and disagree with those who call in boring, more likely to call it a hardcore banger, chorus to this one is deadly. I will agree that a few tracks just dont leave much of an impression, and on a short release like this one that can be a big setback. The two real standout tracks for me (and other reviewers it seems) are "Mary Jane" and "Smile", both of these can be found on his "Greatest Hits" album which is definetly a must buy for Scarface fans.
