1 small problem June 29, 2001 Jameson McGrady (HB, CA United States) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a very good CD. I dont normally listen to R&B, but when I heard Where the Party At I knew I was gonna buy this album. Also the tracks with Trina and Ludacris are tight. The only thing wrong with this CD is the fact that ITS CENSORED! It wouldnt bother me that much when nelly and ludacris are the ones getting it, but when the course of the song is bleeped out it just ticks me off
It is a "Thrill" to listen to! June 30, 2001 Wow! This album is hot! All the songs are good but theses are the best songs. "Where the Party At?" with Nelly "Goodbye", "Cut Somethin'" with Ludacris and "I got it" Featuring Trina. Buy the cd! Every song is Blazin!
Bringing it back to the N.E. dayz June 29, 2001 Nekeya Simone Dancy (Boston, MA United States) Jagged Edge brought me back in the dayz of New Edition and real R&B/Hip-Hop. It's music to cruise to, relax to, and you can even shake your thang. I'm happy I bought it the day it came out, cause I haven't stopped playing it since. Not only can they harmonize, but they have lyrics. In the new millenium groups like J.E. are lacking lyrics(something worth listening to). They got that sex appeal that made ladies crazy over Boyz to Men, New Edition,R Kelly. They get four starz because I know they got more where this came from. I have high expectations for J.E.
They have done it again!!!! June 29, 2001 O. M. Dangerfield (Fayetteville, TN United States) I could NOT wait until this c.d. came out and I must say that I was NOT disappointed! I LOVE every song on this album. Jagged Edge gets better every time! By the way, I also love the song on the Down To Earth soundtrack. What can I say? If J.E. is doing it, I'm loving it! They are definitely my all time favorite group!!!
***It truly is a Jagged Little Thrill*** June 30, 2001 brian (Long Island, NY USA) Jagged Edge has done it once again with their new album "Jagged Little Thrill" This album is nothing compared to their last. In my opinion "Jagged Little Thrill" is 10 times better "J.E. Heartbreak" and this one, once again is sure to go at least platinum...at least. What seperates this album from thier last is the type of style Jagged Edge presented. "J.E. Heartbreak" was a little boring. Don't get me wrong, it was still a great R&B album, its just that all the songs were the same. You know the slow, romantic type. On this one they change their formula a little. Of course it still has its slow jams, but they added some up-tempo partying songs. Their first single "Where The Party At" is a perfect example. After listening to the whole album "Where The Party At" is definitely the best track. The chours is very catchy. I especially love Nelly's verse. This song has amazing lyrics along with a hot beat.(It's like a remake to E.I.) The collaborations on this album is also another major improvement. Nelly, Ludacris and Trina do a fantastic job helping the album. All the songs are definitely good in their own way, but my favorites are:TRACK #2-Where The Party At feat. Nelly(best song) TRACK #4-Cut Somethin' feat. Ludacris(great beat) TRACK #6-Can We be Tight TRACK #7 Got It feat Trina(great beat, Trina flows nicely) TRACK #9-Without You TRACK #11-This Goes Out feat. Big Duke and Joe Glak TRACK #12-Respect TRACK #13-Head Of Household(da bomb...hope this or track #7 is their next single) This is a great R&B album. All the Collaborations are amazing. I can't see why anyone can dislike this cd. If you liked their last 2 albums there's no doubt you'll love this. Jagged Edge seems to improve every new release, so I can't wait for their next album. SO SO DEF is definitely on top.
