a tasty pop track gets even better... December 17, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Those people who actually gave the Paris Hilton CD a close listen have discovered that it is just an awesome pop dance collection like something Britney Spears would put out. And, other than the remixes for the lead off single "Stars are Blind", the remixes have been perfect, taking the tracks to new levels. The winners here are the Jason Nevins mix, which is really just somewhat of an 'extended' version of the original, with a slightly harder edge, and the Dave Aude mix which gives the song a great retro-80s synth pop feel. You'll recognize an ode to The Cure's "Just Like Heaven" in the synth line, and pay attention to the bassline--and then start singing the chorus of Anything Box's "Living in Oblivion" and you'll discover you've just created a HOT mashup....

All you haters out there...what's your problem? October 10, 2007 Okay, Paris' reputation has preceeded her, but this single, along with the remixes and in fact her entire album, i awesome. I also own these remixes on vinyl and when I spin them in the club the people go nuts for it. I take it to mean they like the song.
I give Paris props for trying to actually make a name for herself outside of "I'm famous for being famous". The song is good, buy it. The album is good, buy it. The remixes are good, so shut up and dance.
A great really catchy song from Paris March 26, 2008
This song has got to be one of the best songs off her new album and was totally a good choice 4 a single u just gotta luv this song like i do.
great song April 1, 2008 If you listen to the song and watch the video, you'll hear and see that Paris Hilton is actually trying to do something great. This song isn't a "me, me, me" song. It's a great song for those who want something better, for those who strive to be better. Paris could be off on some yacht boozing it up, but she'd rather work for a living. Obviously not the "princess complex" is getting the best of her. Great song!!
