Jennifer Lopez has had her ups and downs, but it is obvious that Marc Anthony has helped her blossom into everything we knew she was inside.
If you are under 30-years old, or more specifically, have not had many romantic adventures in your life - you will not identify with this album. For the rest of us (women), she is our voice.
The album is comprised of romantic ballads, emotional pasts and honest (sometimes painful) self reflection. I get the impression Jennifer Lopez dusted off those lovelife journals and pulled straight from the heart to create this incredibly poetic album. And the sounds are simply mature. The orchestral sounds and some of the more "rock" sounds are well paired with her lyrics.
If you do not undestand Spanish, find someone who can translate - trust me, it's worth the effort. I translated for my English-only speaking family member, and she was just as emotionally affected as us Spanish speakers.

I can hardly wait for the next all spanish cd from jennifer lopez - she could be the female luis miguel! it is just beautiful - especially "tu" and "por arriesgarnos". what took her so long to do this?

I always felt that her latin language songs in the past were good and she should consider working on an all latin album someday. I'm glad she finally realized that dream. The only thing that I was a bit disappointed by was that there were no fast paced songs which in the past worked so well for her. Not even a track like Carino. Too many ballads!
But I will say that she's never sounded before this confident as a singer. Although at times it seems like it's not good enough. But the woman delivered her best!
I will dare to say that this is her most consistent album to date.

Well, obviously we know that J-Lo is a smart business lady. She has the best of both worlds. Even though she is still very hot and is very much capable of competing with the Best, she is aware that the younger talent and generation is right behind her. The American audience appreciates J-Lo's sense of style and the excitement she brings to the stage when she entertains and does her thing on stage. She is an international star. The Latino community and European community will embrace her and love her forever - no doubt about that. Now to the nitty gritty. Vocally we know she is not a Christina, but I like the way she is able to flip it. English/Spanish it doesn't make a difference. Jennifer you are a FLY-GYRL and always will be. Keep on doin' your thang! Her longevity is in her roots.

This new CD is by far one of the best new releases. Jennifer Lopez has released an outstanding CD and it should sell very well. Lopez plans to tour later this year to promote the new CD. After her April 11th appearance on American Idol should boost CD sales!
