    1 out of 5 stars 15 minutes & 59 seconds... ...time's running out for J-Ho...,   October 30, 2007

Picante-Pants is back with a brand-new record and this one is HOT, HOT, HOT!!! Jenny plans to thank a box of Nair and a bottle of bleach for making this CD possible.

You know, I really can't stand this woman. Is it still politically incorrect to speak your mind? I don't care. I am proud to be a citizen of the best country in the world and I will speak my mind if I want to. But really, I don't hate her because she's a mean (rhymes with) witch. And I don't hate her because she spits on everyone who isn't rich and famous. And I don't hate her because her legs are looser than O.J. after being tried for double-homicide. I just don't understand how someone like this can keep making music because she has zero talent. As usual, on her latest CD she's way too eager to be popular. And she has nothing to say. This excrement-on-a-CD is horrific, it actually makes my ears bleed. To simply call it bad would be a huge understatement. It's so poor, it's Gigli-Bad. I hope she disappears as fast as she came. Maybe we'll all get lucky and someone will throw a bucket of water on her. Oh but don't worry Jenn-Jenn, I'm sure there'll always be a spot for your fat bee-hind, on Page 6, right below Brit!

BTW, has anyone seen Jen lately? Just because she is having a baby does not mean she should look like a pig (or look any more like a pig than she normally does.)

1 out of 5 stars Brave & She Should Be   October 9, 2007

Yes, Jennifer is at it again. I saw her on the morning show it was a pitifull performance. She should just give up on singing and focus on acting. She performed three songs and sounded dreadful on them all. That doing it well is just an aweful sound. She will never make the hits she did in the past without the clout she had to connect with the producers and song writer's when she did the collabo w/Ja Rule and the couple of others songs that got a buzz. She is just determined to do this though. Honestly, she is getting that middle-age look that some Hispanic/Latino woman who look young but when they age it hits them like a ton of bricks. Her choreography or should I say dance moves have sunk to none existant. If she is expecting as it has been rumored I wish her the best with the baby and her life with Marc Anthony. However I don't think it will last and I think it was a rebound from her Ben Afleck after the Diddy thing didn't work. Ironically Afleck is directing a new movie "Gone, Baby, Gone" and so she is, Jennifer that is. I trully think she tried to make it big in the Black World(In Living Color, Bad Boy) White World (Ben Afleck-popular actor) and now Latino artist- Marc Anthony. That Booty has been served all around Hollyhood. It is always someone in the spotlight. Hope it works out because you know they say three strikes. I'm Out...Peace

4 out of 5 stars so far so good   October 16, 2007

i bought the album tuesday and i can't honestly give it 5 stars yet because i cant get past the first 4 songs. i have been hummin' these songs in my head at work and when i'm trying to go to bed...really catchy and NO rapper collaborations...thank God! so far this album is more dance and r&b with a retro feel and i think it's awesome so far...i was surprised because i have read reviews and none of them have been that good. if you like good music dont listen to those reviews and be a judge for yourself. with a voice that isnt much to talk about J-Lo makes it work and sounds like a true popstar.

    4 out of 5 stars Jennifer Lopez: Volume 7   October 28, 2007

When BRAVE is good, it's brilliant. It mixes R&B, dance and pop, with a few ballads thrown it. Jennifer's vocals have improved immensely.

But does BRAVE have some really good tracks? The first single `Do It Well' is a fantastic hip hop/dance hybrid. More production time has been spent on 'polishing' up the following tracks; `Forever', `Hold It, Don't Drop It' and `Mile In These Shoes' - planned future singles?

`Stay Together', `The Way It Is', `Wrong When You're Gone' and `Brave are also way above average.

That only leaves 4 songs that aren't bad, just boring. `Gotta Be There', `Never Gonna Give Up', `Be Mine' and `I Need Love'.

Whilst more casual music fans may find BRAVE to be hit or miss, the enthusiast will find this to be a solid entry is Ms Lopez' résumé.

    * Plus, the 'bonus track', the `Do It Well' remix, featuring Ludacris is pointless. Why ruin a good song?

    1 out of 5 stars HORRIBLE!!   October 28, 2007

I have all of Jennifer's cds and even though she's not a TRUE singer, she has been entertaining since her 1999 cd debut. I loved every cd up until now. I think with the movie, her debut spanish cd, tour, and the BABY(???), she overexposed herself, which technically isn't bad to have 4 out of 5 things to go well(the baby deliver & outcome remains to be seen). My favorite is the heavy sampled "Hold It Don't Drop It." I only like "Do It Well" because of the video. Her debut cd was great & fun and most of all, made sense. Ben Affleck said recently that dating her was the low point of his career, however J-lo benefited with the stellar "This Is Me...Then" cd. I guess she can say to Marc....he only benefited her in Spanish songs, not English ones!!
