First of all let me start by saying that the first time i listened to Brave, i really didn't think it was great, but after a few more listens i was really blown away by this album. Brave contains great lyrics and has an amazing 70's disco combined with 80's feel.

2.Do It Well
3.Hold It Don't Drop it
4.Brave
5.Wrong When Your Gone
And here is an individual song evaluation.
1.Stay Together- A glossy anti-brakup anthem with great beats absolutley LOVE IT! 10/10
2.Forever-At first i wasn't all that into this song but now i really like it-10/10
3.Hold It Don't Drop It- A heavy disco inspired track with great beats. A definate Standout. 10/10
4.Do It Well- This is a True Pop Song At it's best. It has attitude, it makes you wanna dance, and it makes you feel good. i LOVE The lyrics and the beat. i like it when she sings "i know what your thinking, cuz i'm thinking it too" 10/10
5.Gotta Be There- A Great R&B/Disco song 10/10
6.Never Gonna Give Up- This is song is sooo good, i think it'll make you want to cry. "forgiving him was the first thing i had to do in order to move on/ forgetting it was not as easy to do/ i had to teach myself to be strong/ and it's so easy to be scared" 9/10
7.Mile In These Shoes- definetly the most original song i have heard in a long time. I Absolutly LOVE EVERYTHING about it, it's absolutly flawless, and the vocals are Phenomenal. I love the chorus" Even if they try/ They still can't walk a mile in these shoes/ They couldn't even lace 'em up right/ Honey these Pumps are to big to fill/ 10 Million Men can't wal a mile in these shoes" It better be a single, this song has the power to renew and refresh her career and it's Destined to be be a J.Lo classic for Sure! 10/10
8.The Way It Is- an R&B flavored song, has a really good chorus.10/10
9.Be Mine- a 70's inspired type of dance ballad.10/10
10.I Need Love- a song that sounds like something Hall & Oates would sing back in their day, the lyrics are really catchy i absolutly love it! 10/10
11.Wrong When Your Gone- AWWW... i start to melt when i hear this song beginning with the piano. Wrong When Your Gone is an awespiring mid-tempo ballad about breaking up because of inreconsillable diffrances and wanting to be together again not mattering who was right., the chorus is so sad "Now Im out Here Trippin/ Cuz You Came Up Missing And My Head Keeps Spinning/ It's Getting Out Of Control/ I'm Backing Down This Time/ I don't care who's right/ Cuz I'm Wrong When Your Gone/ When Your Gone" 10/10
12.Brave- This is one of the many of my favorite songs. It has attitude, and yet in the chorus, she sounds like she's had enough, and yet really mature. The lyrics are amazing and Jennifer sounds exquisitly phenomenal. Overall a GREAT song, and a Beautiful closer. 10/10
Overall "Brave" is a solid Pop Album that will definatley Stand Out above the Rest!

At first I wasn't too thrilled with the cd. I had purchased it thinking all songs were like Do It Well. I was a little disappointed at first listen. After listening to it a second time, I can honestly say I love it! It's not On the 6 JLO, which is good.....her music is evolving. If you're a true fan, you'll love this cd. Best songs: Brave (my favorite!), Do It Well, The Way It Is, Hold It Don't Drop It.

I base my enjoyment of an album on whether or not I can listen to the whole album without skipping forward to another track. Unfortunately, I need to skip forward when listening to JLO's current cd. I am a fan and I enjoy her music when she brings on her heavy dance beat mixes. I don't expect greatness when listening to JLO, she is an entertainer and doesn't sounds extraordinary with her voice, but neither does Britney, but you can't deny either one of them that they can put on a show and can dance.
The few fast paced dance tracks on this album on popping and I love to blare them when I am driving in my car with windows down. My favorite is track 13, the "Do It Well" remix with Ludicris. The first song few songs on the album are also good but when you get towards the middle and end, I find myself getting ansy and wanting to fast forward the songs. I dont enjoy slow songs from JLO and she really shouldn't attempt them as much as she does. Other than that, if you like JLO in all her dance beat glory, there are some winners on this album you might enjoy.

I have to start off by sayin I;m beyond how far JLo has gone... this is much better than "This Is Me..Then" and maybe even "Rebirth". The production is top-notched, her lyrics seemed like it was actually written to match her voice and her life.
Outstanding Tracks:
Mile In These Shoes (needs to be the 2nd single)
Forever
Hold It Don't Drop It (a hot fly party track should be 3rd single)
Wrong When you're Gone (nice smooth r&b song--should be a 4th single)
All the tracks are excellent as well I don't even skip any tracks
To everyone with the bad reviews actually LISTEn to the whole album without skipping any tracks and you'll realize how great this is..JLO's still got it
